Officer Joseph Cruz and his partner took away a 21 year old person that brought people nothing but joy and laughter! What does the family do when that smile & laughter is gone forever?!
Usman was a very kind & considerate person, even after being in the morgue for 21 days he had a smile on his face! What an innocent soul!
IF IT WAS YOUR CHILD , WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Preamble
Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world,
Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people,
Whereas it is essential, if man is not to be compelled to have recourse, as a last resort, to rebellion against tyranny and oppression, that human rights should be protected by the rule of law,
Whereas it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations,
Whereas the peoples of the United Nations have in the Charter reaffirmed their faith […]

9 June 2008 - PRESS RELEASE
INDONESIAN GOVERNMENT FAILS TO PROTECT RIGHTS OF AHMADIYYA MUSLIM COMMUNITY
It is with great regret that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has learnt of the apparent decision of the Head of State of Indonesia, President Susilo Yudhoyono to sign a decree ordering members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to stop practicing their faith or face possible imprisonment. This decree belligerently violates the human rights of every Ahmadi Muslim in Indonesia and ignores the principles of religious freedom enshrined in the country’s Constitution.
The Spokesperson for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community said:
“The Indonesian Government must realize that it is denying its most loyal citizens their most basic rights and this alone speaks volumes. In recent months Ahmadis have been attacked, forced out […]

The way oil price increases, it scares even oil producing nations who stand to gain from it for now.
Saudi Arabia says the hikes are not justifiable given that the market has sufficient supplies. It is calling for a meeting among oil producing nations, consuming nations and oil companies spanning the supply chain, to discuss how to deal with it.
The Saudi’s official concern is that spiraling oil prices ‘could affect the world economy’. I think they are also worried about how the phenomena could backfire against oil rich countries in the long run.
Everyone is now driven to research and invest in renewable forms of energy. Dependency on oil aside, these alternatives also hold promises of cleaner environments.
One day they might just make oil obsolete.

I’m Fired Up!! I’m Ready To Go!!!! If I recall, James Carville said that when Obama gets the nomination, he will be first in line to support Obama. That would be now, I suggest jumping on it!!!? Why you ask?, because I think this campaign will be run on two levels, the Candidates will behave respectfully and nobly, and the 527’s will not. We need Carvile to coordinate (or help and be involved)) the messages coming out of the two media to maximize the effect? Obama knows Chicago “Down and Dirty” politics, so I assume he will recognize the asset of James Carville and seek to integrate him into his operation (Please, don’t get too noble, that’s what Carter did)).
I saw it with my own eyes and I was terrified, yet exited. John McCain looked like a crabby old man on the nite Obama went over the delegate count and […]

My retired conservative friend tipped me off about the first video in this series. I found all eight in the series and assembled them into a YouTube playlist, which you may play through via the embedded player above. Each video (as I recall) is a little over 9m 30 seconds in length. I have not seen the entire series at this writing, but I plan to see it as soon as my work schedule allows — and then I will report on it to my supervisors at the Living Church of God.
In creating the playlist, however, I have heard parts of all eight videos (it takes me time to set up such a list, especially when I have another program running at the same time), and there are some statements that make me cautious. The lecturer, Lindsay Williams (author of “The Energy Non-Crisis”), is in earnest and seems credible. No one […]

STOCKHOLM (AFP) — World military spending grew 45 percent in the past decade, with the United States accounting for nearly half of all expenditure, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) said Monday.
Military spending grew six percent last year alone, according to SIPRI’s annual report.
In 2007, 1,339 billion dollars (851 billion euros) was spent on arms and other military expenditure, corresponding to 2.5 percent of global gross domestic product, or GDP — or 202 dollars for each of the world’s 6.6 billion people.
The United States spends by far the most towards military aims, dishing out 547 billion dollars last year, or 45 percent of global expenditure.
